Mighty CF-SP Method
The corrosion rate of the splash zone of steel piles is at its maximum and determines the lifespan of the steel piles. Mighty CF-SP is a rust prevention method specifically designed for the anti-corrosion of steel pipe piles in marine structures.
The Mighty CF-SP method involves installing a polycarbonate disposable formwork around the outer circumference of a steel pipe pile, and injecting a resin mortar-based anti-corrosion material mixed with salt harmlessness materials into the approximately 5mm gap between the formwork and the steel pipe pile, which is made of an inorganic anti-corrosion material called Mighty CF, and then solidifying it. This method is also registered as a new technology by the Tokyo Port Authority and is a cost-effective and simple anti-corrosion method for the splash zone of steel pipe piles.
